Manage Section

In 5day.io, you can easily hide or show sections in the structure view to keep your workspace organized and focused. Here’s how to manage section visibility:

Option 1: From the Project View​

  1. Open the Project: Click on the project where the section is located.
  2. View Section List: You’ll see a list of all sections within the project.
  3. Open the Three-Dot Menu: Next to each section name, click on the three-dot menu (⋮).
  4. Hide the Section: Select Hide in Structure View from the menu to hide the section.
  5. Show the Section Again: If the section is hidden, the same menu will display Show in Structure View. Click it to make the section visible again.

Option 2: From the Sidebar (Structure View)​

  1. Expand the Project: Click the arrow icon next to the project name to expand and see all sections.
  2. Open the Three-Dot Menu: Next to each section, click the three-dot menu (⋮).
  3. Hide the Section: Select Hide in Structure View to hide the section.

To Show the Section Again:
When you want to make the hidden section visible again, follow Option 1 above. Go into the project, view the list of sections, and from the three-dot menu next to the hidden section, select Show in Structure View.
